Due to its adoption of the Biden administration's progressive woke policies, the military is now struggling to meet recruiting goals across all branches. While the military has already raised the maximum age to join, it still struggles to find enough volunteers. In what seems almost as an act of desperation, the military is now accepting people who have had behavioral issues, such as ADHD.

Under the new guidelines, anyone who has graduated high school or college or has successfully held a job without counseling or medication for ADHD for 3 years would be eligible to enlist in the military.

According to Army Lt. Col. Kim Helgemoe, the 3-year symptom-free period "is reassuring that they would make it through their initial entry training and hopefully have a successful military career."

Military guidelines also dictate that anyone who has been treated for or taken medication for depression or other mental health issues can enlist if they obtain a waiver for their conditions. It is also required that a recruit not be taking any medication during basic training.

Senator Tom Cotton has been outspoken about the declining standards across the military, citing Biden's focus on removing right-wing supporters from the military, implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion policies, and instituting strict vaccine mandates as the main reasons for the decline.

Cotton also notes that the academic standards for the military have fallen as well, with woke policies being implemented at West Point and the Air Force Academy adding a "Diversity and Inclusion reading room."

At a time when Russia is invading its neighbors, and China harassing Taiwan on a daily basis while North Korea keeps testing its nuclear weapons, the US military needs to be recruiting and training warriors, not catering to a woke agenda that is weakening the military and driving away quality potential recruits.
