Back to the future - the U.S. Army operated eight nuclear reactors until 1974 during the initial Golden Age of Atomic Power

Did you know the U.S. Army used to have a nuclear power plant in the Panama Canal Zone?
Or that Ft. Belvoir, Virginia had an operating nuclear power plant until 1974?
During the Atomic Era, nuclear power was the future.
Then it became evil and vilified by the Democrats and cause celebre movies by Jane Fonda and the dismal propaganda piece, “The China Syndrome”.
Then suddenly, out of nowhere, nuclear power is now the new, “Green Energy”
These are exciting times and Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) are the answer to the massive spike in energy demand caused by artificial intelligence and data centers.
SMRs, hopefully, will be the answer to make sure the Department of War, and the whole national grid has power at all times, despite the demand spike or Chinese cyber attack.
