Dear Friends and especially Parents and Cadets,
If you haven’t seen–the new administration is calling DEI “illegal discrimination.” Pretty sweeping actions outlined in the Executive Orders of the last two days.
Hearty thanks to all BCCd on this email whose hard work to eliminate discrimination of this type have made this day a reality! Unity and not divisiveness is in our future!

Here is another related Executive Order (embedded in Professor Turley’s article) that is all about “ENDING ILLEGAL DISCRIMINATION AND RESTORING MERIT-BASED OPPORTUNITY“.

Some of our STARRS affiliated lawyers have opined that this order may prohibit Service Academies from discriminating in their admissions processes.
STARRS will be working hard with the White House and especially DOD on any follow orders that may be necessary to ensure clarity–as outlined in the Executive Order on DEI (below) which says in part: “monitor and track agency and department progress and identify potential areas for additional Presidential or legislative action.”

Ending Radical And Wasteful Government DEI Programs And Preferencing – The White House
All this said and these Executive Orders released–resistance is already showing its subversive head.
Here is an email I got this morning which quotes a USAFA AOC which addresses guidance sent out this morning to AOCs and AMTs.
“Well, the new administration is in…let the re-branding commence. All of our “Diversity & Inclusion” slides have been re-designated “Dignity Respect, and Leadership”.
He/she went on to comment:
“This is going to take a lot if monitoring, ordering & punishing to root out this cancer!
Matt’s book needs to be required reading! The fight isn’t over!”
You will note that those actions and the tone of “let the re-branding begin,” depending on the specifics, could be in direct violation of the Memorandum from OPM which directs in part that by 5 PM tonight:
“Send an agency-wide notice to employees informing them of the closure and asking employees if they know of any efforts to disguise these programs by using coded or imprecise language a template agency-wide notice is attached.”
The appendix attached says:
“We are aware of efforts by some in government to disguise these programs by using coded or imprecise language.
If you are aware of a change…. please report all facts and circumstances to [email protected] within 10 days.
There will be no adverse consequences for timely reporting this information.
However, failure to report this information within 10 days may result in adverse consequences.”
The Ending the Radical and Wasteful DEI Programs EO, however, does say to “to advance the policy of equal dignity and respect,” so as the AOC indicates, this is going to take some serious monitoring to ensure the Commander-in-Chief’s intent is followed. He has made it very clear what his intent is in these executive orders.
We have also seen our President issue an EO on there only being two genders. I would think that would mean the “Genderbread Person”
The Genderbread Person – ❤ It’s Pronounced Metrosexual taught by the USAFA Behavioral Science and Leadership Department that so many parents have complained to STARRS about, (asking “where is the ‘inclusion’ of my religious beliefs?”) should be going away.
