You will notice that I did not use the other "trans" word in the title because it is not biologically possible to change genders. Therefore, I will not use the word since its existence alone is a lie.

On May 6th the Supreme Court's opinion backed up the administration's ban on transvestites serving in the military.

There will be much debate on the topic while the identification and removal of as many as 1,000 soon-to-be former servicemembers continues. Active duty members have until June 6th to identify themselves to the Department of Defense, while Reserve and National Guard members have until July 7th.

As a former commander in the U.S. Army, I'm happy to see these failed experiments end, hopefully never to return. The reason is simple. They are a detriment to the military's dedication to readiness and lethality.

Here are some reasons why.

  1. Transvestites sometimes join the military to obtain gender surgeries and are not deployable for approximately two years as a result. This is due to their medical requirements while going through the process. If they join having already completed their reconstruction, they are still high maintenance from a medical and behavior health perspective.
  2. This means you have a service member who cannot deploy, preventing another member from deploying who could have filled the assignment slot. Therefore, one transvestite who can't deploy equals the loss of two personnel.
  3. During the two-year non-deployable period, the servicemember is still paid. This is a waste of taxpayer funds. Though bad enough by itself to pay someone who can't function, there is also the loss of funds for the surgery and all medications required.
  4. There is already a substantial demand on the military medical community. Unnecessary surgeries make this worse.
  5. When a bio man pretends to be a woman, they now compete with real women when taking physical fitness tests. This can be detrimental to real women as bio men could outscore them and get in the way of promotions, awards, or assignments. This harms the military because real women are left on the outside looking in. This is similar to when biological men compete in women's sports.
  6. The total cost of these surgeries, treatments, and medications between 2015 and 2024 was about $52 million. Rather than fund unnecessary surgeries detrimental to the military's mission, these funds could have gone to meet actual training and mission requirements.

I have other reasons to oppose transvestites serving in the military, from a faith background, to the family environment. Also, joining the military to complete a fake transition process means they start by enlisting under false pretenses. To begin with a lie is not a good way to start a job where integrity is valued.

Let's pray this cancerous experiment is over, and the military can refocus on what's important. Winning.
