Dr. Peter Hotez, who found fame during the pandemic as one of the most fervent defenders and promoters of the experimental mRNA vaccine technology, is making news again. I don’t think I’m speculating too much in drawing the conclusion that Dr. Hotez can’t wait for the U.S. to be afflicted by another plague. Coincidentally, Dr. Hotez’s “prediction,” just happened to be right before global health experts began warning of a new Disease X: A mysterious illness in the Democratic Republic of Congo has been dubbed "Disease X." There have been over 400 cases and up to 143 deaths linked to the illness since late October, according to Bloomberg.
