The American people voted for President Trump, three times, by overwhelming margins. Americans voted for a shake up of 'the blob' in Washington, D.C., the name given to the national security apparatus that keeps the 'forever wars' going, that promotes itself, and feeds the NGO, think tank, defense industry machine year after year, while the American people suffer.

The America First movement, or MAGA, is ascendent in American politics. Many in 'the blob' don't like that, and are making their opinions know in the press.

Today, The Washington Times, Ronald Reagan's favorite paper, a serious journalism masthead in the nation's capital, put out 'blob' propaganda - that Secretary of War Hegseth has 'lost the trust' of 'the blob' in D.C.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has lost the trust and respect of some top military commanders, with his public “grandstanding” widely seen as unprofessional and the personnel moves made by the former cable TV host leading to an unprecedented and dangerous exodus of talent from the Pentagon, said current senior military officers and current and former Defense Department officials.

Numerous high-ranking officers painted Mr. Hegseth’s Sept. 30 speech to hundreds of generals and admirals gathered at Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia as a turning point in how his leadership style, attitude and overall competency are viewed in the upper echelons of the U.S. armed forces.

“It was a massive waste of time. … If he ever had us, he lost us,” one current Army general told The Washington Times.

Of course, the headline makes perfect sense -- 'the blob' flag officers probably don't like Hegseth -- but that is the whole point as the Secretary tries to bring back a war fighting spirit to the Department of War.

They especially didn't like being called from around the world to Marine Corp Base Quantico in Virginia recently to hear what Hegseth had to say -- like lose weight, do PT, train to fight wars, and get rid of Marxism.

One remembers the comment from a senior military officer when Hegseth was nominated -- "I am not used to following orders from majors", referring to Hegseth's rank while serving in the armed forces, but ignoring the Constitutionally-mandated civilian control of the Pentagon.

The Washington Times article also ignores the massive support Secretary Hegseth and President Trump enjoy with the rank and file troops.

The Washington Times should know better than to propagate the propaganda of those who opposed the thrice-elected President of the United States, and the movement behind him.

This is a time for choosing, and The Washington Times has chosen the side of 'the blob'.

This is also a time for seeing what you actually see - media outlets that are truly for America First...there aren't many of us.
