Roosevelt Roads, PR hosts U.S. military again over 20 years later

President Trump announced yesterday a third strike against narco-terrorists operating in the Caribbean following September 15’s strike. In each case, the administration reported three narco-terrorists aboard the vessels known to be trafficking drugs, through a sea corridor known to be used by smugglers, were lethally prosecuted with no U.S. casualties.

Last week also saw dozens of military aircraft (C-5s, C-17s, CH-53s, MV-22s, and at least 10 J-35s) operating from the José Aponte de la Torre Airport in Puerto Rico, once the mighty Roosevelt Roads Naval Station that was shuttered in 2004. Highly likely that its now being used as a logistics hub and to stage joint military aircraft in support of hunting these narco-terrorists, conveniently right across the sea from Venezuela.
