President-Elect Donald Trump just confirmed Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton's claim from November 8.
Trump said it's "TRUE" that he is prepared to declare a national emergency as soon as he takes office, and use the military "to reverse the Biden invasion through a mass deportation program."
Of course, Connecticut Attorney General William Tong has promised not to cooperate with "federal roundups, except for violent offenses" because of Connecticut's status as a sanctuary state.
Tong even warned illegals to keep a low profile and set up a telephone tree with their "pro bono lawyers" in case things go south.
Fortunately, incoming Border Czar Tom Homan doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would let a state's "sanctuary" status stop him from making good on one of the most popular campaign promises Trump made -- the mass deportation of illegals.
