Uninformed 'Conservative Inc' overreacted to an announcement by the Department of War that a facility will be built at Mountain Home Air Base in Idaho to house and train Qatari F-15 pilots.
The 'Qatar' issue has become a dividing line in the conservative movement.
“We’re signing a letter of acceptance to build a Qatar Emiri Air Force facility at the Mountain Home Air Base in Idaho,” Hegseth said alongside Qatari Minister of Defense Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani at the Pentagon. “The location will be host to a contingent of Qatari F-15s and pilots to enhance our combined training, increase the lethality, interoperability."
There are no foreign military bases in the U.S., but some foreign militaries do maintain a presence for training. Singapore’s air force also has a presence at Mountain Home Air Force Base in southwestern Idaho, wrote Stars and Stripes.
“What the hell is going on? Why are we trying to train more Muslims how to fly planes on US soil? Didn’t we already learn our lesson? Why are we encouraging more Islamic infiltration of our country by the funders of HAMAS and the Muslim Brotherhood?” wrote Laura Loomer in one post.
“If the GOP continues to Islamify our country and continues to allow funders of Islamic terrorism from Qatar to come into our country when they have a documented history of funding Islamic terror, I am not voting in 2026 and won’t be able to encourage others to vote either,” she added in the next. “I didn’t vote for the Islamification of my country. If the GOP is going to allow Muslims to have military bases on US soil when they know these Qataris are funding HAMAS and the Muslim Brotherhood, then voting in 2026 is a waste of time.”
Other more rational voices weighed in.
"It’s typical. Nothing unusual at all. We have other country’s facilities for training on our aircraft they’ve bought," said former USAF Wing Commander and B-1 crew member Rob Maness.

LOOMER IS RIGHT THOUGH, QATAR IS A MAJOR FUNDER OF TERRORISM IN THE WORLD NEXT TO IRAN IN FACT THEY'VE TAKEN OVER MOST OF THE FUNDING SINCE IRAN'S ECONOMY IS PRETTY SHAKY AND THEY ARE NOT GETTING CASH PAYMENTS FROM THE U.S. ANYMORE. WE ALREADY HAVE TO MANY OF THE RELIGION OF PIECES IN OUR COUNTRY AND SHOULD BE DEPORTING THEM IN MASS NOT BRINGING IN MORE AND MORE.
Why are we selling weapons to muzlum countries to begin with? Second, why are we training muzlums to fly these planes, which inevitably will be used against our allies and quite possibly Americans.
By the way, it isn't "Conservative Inc" complaining, but real America First conservatives.
