James Scott Reece Anderson was born on 24 May 2002 in Kidlington, United Kingdom. From 2019 to 2023 he served as a private in the 22nd Signal Regiment of the British Armed Forces, declared reports on X.

After he was discharged from the army, he couldn't find a job and was left without money, so he applied on the website of the Ukrainian Foreign Legion.
