The Chinese Ship, "Yi Peng 3" likely cut key undersea cables in the Baltic. Could Chinese ships also be flying the drones over US Air Force facilities in the United Kingdom?
The Baltic Sea used to be controlled by NATO. Now the feeble NATO Nations can’t even guard their own front yard and the Baltic has become a Chinese lake.
The Yi Peng 3 is part of a Civil-Military surge by China into the Baltic. Chinese merchant vessels are bringing banned and sanctioned loads to and from Russian ports and going over the Arctic to China. The Chinese Navy (PLAN) is spending more time in the Baltic than the undersized and overstretched U.S. Navy. More evidence that 3 or 4 percent of GDP is needed now by NATO countries to rebuild their military.
The Yi Peng 3 is stopped and hasn’t passed north through the Danish Straits yet. Multiple countries want to question the crew over the two undersea cables that have been cut. They feel the Yi Peng 3 intentionally dragged their anchor to cut the expensive and critical undersea cables. This is not the first time. The Chinese ship, the NewNew Polar Bear (that’s its real name) did this in the East Baltic in October 2023.
This is Gray Zone/5th Generation Warfare by China in support of their ally Russia. They know things will change on January 20, 2025 and they are trying to get as much in as possible before then.
With all the Chinese shipping into the Baltic, the question is, could one of these transiting Chinese vessels have slipped down to East Anglia to launch the drones against RAF Lakenheath, Mildenhall, and Feltwell? (Please see bottom map). It’s less than a day’s deviance from the normal maritime traffic flow. There’s a lot you can hide in containers on a container ship.
