The two are U.S. Citizens - but may be dual citizens. The brother has fled to China. The mother is now detained and being processed for deportation, being found to be an Illegal Alien.

An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was placed near the Visitor Center of MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida.

A very bizarre set of circumstances. Were the brother and sister operating on behalf of China? Were they Iranian sleeper agents? Were they triggered wokesters?

MacDill hosts two major commands, U.S. Central Command and U.S. Special Operations Command.

Both of these Commands are a bit busy now with Operation Epic Fury, the precision strike campaign on Iran. Secretary of War Hegseth said about the campaign, “The mission of Operation Epic Fury is laser-focused: Destroy Iranian offensive missiles, destroy Iranian missile production, destroy their navy and other security infrastructure – and they will never have nuclear weapons.”

Ann Mary is in federal custody.

The siblings fled to the People's Republic of China on March 12, just two days after the incident, according to authorities. Ann Mary was apprehended after returning to the U.S. via a Detroit airport on March 17.

An initial search, after the phone call from Alen on March 10, failed to find the IED. On March 16, an Air Force airman discovered the device outside the MacDill visitor center, six days after it was planted. Alen and Ann Mary’s mother was detained for deportation, having overstayed her visa. By overstaying the visa, the Mother was an Illegal Alien.
