The blueprint for returning America to be the dominant Maritime nation has been released. It will be Down to the Sea in Ships (again)

“A nation secures its borders, makes things, makes things that makes things, and has a maritime fleet in proportion to the size of its economy.
Otherwise you are a nation of coffee shops. No nation grew to greatness based on coffee shops. Greece was once a mighty nation, and became a nation of coffee shops.
Similarly, no nation ever regulated itself to greatness.
The United States has the largest economy in the world, yet has the smallest merchant fleet at only 80 ships. This has to change.”©

The Maritime Sector is not just a nation’s Navy, it is the Navy plus the much larger merchant fleet, ship building sector, ship repair capacity, and related Maritime infrastructure.
It is incredulous that the United States, the largest economy in the world (or universe for that matter), has only 80 ships.
The once, unchallenged, U.S. Navy grew to be the largest Navy in world history in World War II because the United States once had a mighty maritime economy.
Because of Globalism, the U.S. walked away from the Maritime Sector and succumbed to the cancer of Flags of Convenience.
Returning to maritime dominance means vaporizing the whole culture of flags of convenience. It means autonomous ships enabled by AI, small modular reactors, autonomous ports, and modern shipyards with high levels of robotics.
The youth of America can throw transgenderism out the window and focus on becoming part of this maritime revolution. They will be the ship drivers of the future - often done from their homes and apartments through autonomy.
President Trump has released the plan for a renaissance and a Golden Age of Maritime for America - it is a great read.
