First it was Army Command Sgt. Maj. Veronica Knapp. She was the CSM for Joint Task Force - National Capital Region (JTF-NCR). This is the military task force that handles all operational military matters in a defined area in and around Washington D.C. Pandemic, Terrorist Attack, or securing the Capital after a seizure of power.
No details have been released on the reason for Knapp’s firing.
Now at Ft. Belvoir, VA, about 10 miles down I-95 from Washington, D.C., the Army’s 1st Information Operations Command has their CSM sacked. CSM Ed Jarrell relieved of duty (i.e. sacked). Little information on him either. We’ve seen Crowdstrike, 3B Social Security Numbers and personal information stolen, and the biggest cyber clash in history over the “X” Spaces event with Elon and DJT.
Two key CSMs of two key units in the NCR. One handles security of Washington D.C., the other is a key Army Component of Cyber Command. It’s almost as if something is being prepared for November and January.
