Russia released footage of its anti-drone technology using lasers to destroy small aircraft.
The LazerBuzz laser system has been taught to automatically destroy UAVs in half a second, the developing company reported.
During the tests, the installation hit FPV drones in 0.5 seconds.
The system is fully ready for use, and delivery agreements are currently underway.
ISRAEL was said to be working on a similar weapon to take out Hezbollah and Hamas rockets. It was to be included in their Iron Dome defense system. Recall it was to be named Iron Shield, but could be mistaken on that name.
Why don't you guys do a followup article on the Israeli efforts ? And wasn't the US Navy working on this type of defensive system ?
