• Tailgating Special Smoked Pig Shots / Shotgun Shells! With Story From Army Ranger!

    Join us as we make Shotgun Shells or, as some folks call them, Pig Shots. Simple tailgating recipe that is a shot of flavor in your mouth!

    Ingredients: - sausage (kielbasa or andouille style) - thin cut bacon 1-2 packs - cream cheese 16oz - shredded cheese 10-16oz - 3-4 jalapeños - favorite BBQ sauce (Hellfire Honey Habenero or Original from GYAO) - Seasonings of choice (Crispy's Mango Habenero or Infidel Pork Rub are solid) - Piping bag - toothpicks

    Directions: - slice sausage into medallions about 1/4- 3/8" thick - cut bacon in half - slice jalapeños in medallions push seeds and membrane out - put cream cheese in bowl to get to room temp - wrap sausage with bacon half to create the "shell" use toothpick - mix shredded cheese with cream cheese and season with your seasoning - fill piping bag with cheese mixture - pipe cheese into shells, being careful not to over fill. - place jalapeño slice on cheese and press down just enough to seat it with cheese mix starting to come through - smoke or grill indirect till bacon is cooked - glaze with sauce and leave on heat 5-10min - remove and serve www.grillyourassoff.com/mychowline
